Copywriting is everywhere you look online.
I've narrowed it down to the five areas in copywriting that have the most potential to make freelancers the most amount of money. These are in-demand areas of copywriting which directly impact a businesses revenue, which makes them the most profitable opportunities to focus on.
These are different areas in copywriting that you can build your skill set around, beyond just writing one-off articles, or writing a blog here and there.
In order to really separate yourself from the competition and ultimately become a very high-paid copywriter in the online marketplace, keep reading down below where I will be revealing what those top five most in-demand areas in copywriting are and how you can capitalize on them.
First, you will want to understand what exactly copywriting is. Copywriting is the foundation of every successful business. Copywriting isn't just writing random words, it's crafting persuasive writing that showcases a product or service's benefits and encourages people to take action.
That is the type of copywriting which helps companies
sell more products and more services.
It is used to help connect with the target market's pain points and is what ultimately pushes them to make a purchase.
The first area of copywriting that you can make the most money in copywriting is through email marketing. My preferred email marketing platform is Active Campaign.

As a copywriter, what you do is you help craft these different types of emails.
When you broadcast emails, you get to reach out to everyone in the business and let them know of a certain promotion, or something new happening.

One of my favorite tools they provide is their subject line generator. This helpful tool will spit out a bunch of unique headlines you can use in your emails and other copywriting.
All you have to do is select the keyword category: Benefit, Topic, or Pain Point.
Next, you enter the keyword(s) you'd like to target and that's it. Whenever you have writers block or just need a spark of inspiration, give it a try and spice up your copy!
As you can see, there's a lot of different areas just within email marketing alone where copywriters are needed, and this is what helps businesses make more money.
When you can tie yourself to how much money a business is making, and you can look at that email analytics the analytics and show your clients how much business it created, that's when you're going to be able to have the most success as a copywriter.
The second area within copywriting that's the most in-demand, is
Email Marketing Automation.
What is Email Marketing Automation?
Email marketing automation (often referred to as "drip campaigns")
gives you the functionality to set up a sequence of different emails a prospect will receive, based on a specific situation. This grants the ability to craft an ultra-targeted experience for each user, which ultimately results in more sales.
One example of where email automation can be used, is with eCommerce stores. Let's say you get a client who has a Shopify store and they don't have a custom abandoned cart email automation.
As a freelance copywriter, you can set up an email automation sequence that sends emails to those contacts who left early to get them to come back to the store and finish their purchase. The better the copywriting is on each email in the sequence, the more sales they will be able to capture.
Businesses need these emails written from a copywriter that knows what they're doing to get these customers who abandon their cart to come back and make the final purchase.
For this reason, that is how you're going to be able to set yourself apart from a copywriter who's just writing one off blogs and articles, because you’ll be attaching yourself to the revenue what you are crafting can generate. When you do this, you are no longer the same as the competition. You are combining the skill of copywriting with another skill of email marketing automation which makes you much more valuable in the online marketplace.
The third most in-demand area within copywriting right now, is Messenger Bots.
What Messenger Bots do: Messenger Bots, AKA 'Chatbots' are basically a form of email marketing, but on Facebook and through Text Message. Messenger Bots are geared towards people who are in the digitally savvy millennial generation.
More businesses are recognizing the potential that a Messenger Bot sequence with good copywriting can have on their business. That's because these types of messages typically receive very high open rates as compared to emails.

This super ninja tool allows you to see all the different type of paid ads that businesses are currently running. Want to know what a competitor is saying in their Facebook Ads? Search them on the library tool and you will be able to see exactly what types of ads are running as well as what the copywriting is within them.
