Have you ever wondered how some people always seem to have luck on their side? It may seem like no matter what happens, some people are consistently always in the right place at the right time, and have better luck than others. The great news is, good luck can be CREATED. There is a certain mindset you must adapt to be able to put yourself in the right places to have success.
Continue to read how luck can be created by using these three simple motivational mindset tips down below:
The first way you can create luck and have success is through location. Many people who others view as “having good luck” are those who actually put a good amount of effort to be in the right location at the right times.
In fact, successful people know how to make their own luck by putting themselves in the right locations as well as showing up prepared. That gives them the ability to capitalize on whatever comes their way.
As an entrepreneur, being in the right areas where clients can come to you is when you will start to have the most success. This is done by having a realistic expectation of what you can deliver as well as having clearly defined service packages and bundles that you deliver.
Having clearly defined expectations of what you can offer will help you close more deals and attract more clients because people want to know exactly what you can provide.
In addition to being in the best location to create your own luck, the second way to create luck is through practice. Think about it like this, the only way famous athletes can "get lucky" and score a winning shot is because of the thousands of hours of practice that they put in behind the scenes. You cannot expect to have success and be lucky in life if you remain stagnant and don't practice.
By continuing to practice the skills you can deliver and expand on them, you will be in the best position to take advantage of opportunities that arise. Practice showing up every day and show up well. When it comes to being in the right place at the right time, the place is more important than the timing.
An immense amount of opportunities meant for you will come around if you are consistently in the right place. You might get discouraged waiting for your chance, but you can’t allow those things to hinder your consistency. Work hard and be consistent. You will start to see positive results from constantly practicing what you want to manifest, or achieve.
When that opportunity does arise, now you are the best candidate for the job because you put in the work, practiced, and are 100% prepared to jump on it immediately.
The third way you can create luck and have success is by being relentless. This means "mercilessness characterized by an unwillingness to relent or let up." The unfortunate reality is that most people quit when things get tough. They give up on their goals and dreams because they don't see the immediate results that they want.
That's why being RELENTLESS is essential if you are going to have success in your career and your life. Everyone who has reached a notable area of success has been on the verge of quitting multiple times on their journey.
The difference between them and the others who quit is that they committed themselves to never quit and to keep pushing forward. What if you were climbing a mountain, and it only took one more mile to get to that goal flag at the top? You're not just going to give up, you keep moving in the direction of where you feel called, and you will be placed where you belong.
Having this mindset of relentlessness will push you past your fears, and create luck in all areas of your life. Look failure directly in the eyes and say,
“not today.”
Yes, there will be challenges along the way such as making hard decisions with anything you are trying to achieve, but no matter the difficulty, never stop being relentless, never give up on your dreams, and never get in the way of yourself being in the right place at the right time. That is how winning is done and how success is achieved!
“It’s about being relentless in the pursuit of your goal and resilient in the face of bad luck and adversity.”
— Nick Saban
Push yourself outside your comfort zone, because nothing worthwhile is ever created without trying. Don't wait to feel confident before you apply action into creating luck and opening doors to new opportunities.
The truth is, the only person getting in front of your success...is you. At times, success may show up when you least expect it. There is no overnight success with the determined individual. Behind every
success story lies a person who commits to honing in on their craft. Whatever you want out of life, you must go through a process to get it. The process will take time, energy, determination, sacrifice, and relentless focus. If you want it enough, you’ll find a way to get it done.
Once you’ve been consistent, and showing up; it’s time to be relentless and take a chance. Make the opportunity come as you speak up a new idea or propose a new plan. Whatever that may be for you, you’ve got to recognize the opportunities you can take advantage of, then take action without hesitation. Do not allow hesitation as that is the enemy of successful momentum.
I invite you to implement these three motivational mindset tips in your life and watch how things change. Never forget that opportunities and wealth are all around you.... But it's up to you to be in the right location, be prepared, and be relentless so you can take advantage.
