Kevin followed his dreams to spread laughter and his infectious positive attitude to the world.
Many challenges arose while Kevin was going on his journey to success.
Kevin knew he had a mission and no matter how challenging things got, he never gave up on his dreams because he was fueled by his passion.
Kevin turned his negative experiences into a comedy special that he actually performed on stage. Kevin teaches us that no matter what hardships we face, we can laugh it off and turn it into something positive. This is the true sign of personal development and growth.
Kevin expresses: “Once you get in a new level in life, you embrace with a new mindset, you can either stay at that level or keep leveling up”
If you are stuck in a rut or a plateau in your career, business, or life, Kevin suggests to:
“Don’t worry about what other people are doing on their journey or their level of success. Banish your fear of failure and establish your why” Kevin Hart
To do what you love, you have to get over those obstacles and hurdles of things you don’t love to do in life. Then you can pursue the passion you are wanting to do.
If you are unhappy with where you are now, use that as fuel and do all that you can and get to where you want to go. Have the mindset to be authentically true to you, don't let anybody tell you that you can’t do anything.
Kevin says to understand who you are, find who you are, work on your flaws, and be authentically true to you.
Don’t settle for less or accept anything less about yourself if you know there’s an improvement to be made. Give yourself a fighting chance and allow yourself to perform at your highest level!
In order to perform at your best, Kevin Hart suggests doing these things:
“It’s easy to get caught up in the cycle of life, it’s important to slow down and make memories with your family, kids, friends, build memories together as simple as taking walks, or even tacos Tuesday nights” Kevin Hart
Before Kevin prioritized his family, he was putting his career first. His lifestyle was all hustle, hustle, hustle. After he was in a serious car accident in 2019, his life changed and his priorities shifted.
He realized where you choose to invest your time is very important. Kevin decided after he did the big projects to then make more conscious time to spend with his family.
“Everybody’s success is different. This doesn’t mean fame and stars. I’m not talking about that level of success for everything. I’m saying, whatever your version of success is, to get it, information from someone that’s done it, or that’s partaking in it to some degree will only add to the value of your journey. It’s only going to make it easier.” Kevin Hart
Kevin’s wise words show us that everyone’s version of success is different. However, he knows that everyone can benefit from making a conscious effort to spend more time with loved ones and enjoy every moment we have on this Earth.
He also knows that without action, none of his dreams would have ever come to fruition.
Kevin says:
There’s no shortcut around hard work and determination. But if you are working towards your bigger vision and goals it will give you the motivation needed to keep pushing forward.
“If negativity tries to consume your mentality, having gratitude will remind yourself that experiencing this life is a gift and a privilege to live the life of your dreams.” Kevin Hart
After Kevin’s car accident, he truly realized that every moment is a gift. He encourages others to cultivate a sense of gratitude because one event could happen in your life which changes everything.
That’s why it’s vital to have gratitude for all that you have.
If Kevin never left his shoe career to become an entrepreneur, we may not have known who Kevin Hart is today...
Ask yourself:
Put action behind your words and you will begin to feel the momentum shift.
Let this be words of encouragement that you have a PURPOSE that is worth FULFILLING.
First, find what your purpose is. Second, do it unapologetically.
You may never know who you may influence by staying true to you (just like Kevin Hart). You can do this by shifting your mindset and using your passion as fuel to achieve your goals.
